Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at the River Oaks Country Club we attended one of the most romantic nights of the year in Houston.
Champagne & Chocolat Gala is organized every year by Marie Lenotre, Founder and President of the Gaston Lenôtre Scholarship, and is the most glamorous, fun, and delicious party of the year to raise scholarships funds. $250,000 was raised for the Gaston LeNotre Scholarship foundation, which provides tuition scholarships to deserving culinary arts students.
Two hundred Houston’s philanthropic leaders wined, dined and danced the night away to live music performed by Bubba and Greg. They enthusiastically participated in the live and silent auction contributing to the scholarships. The gala was a cocktail red-tie Parisian-themed affair filled with elegance, romance, and philanthropy; featuring a champagne reception, epicurean dinner, the French Cancan Show, and a dessert buffet of endless petits-fours!
Party guests enjoyed more than 1,000 chocolates, 500 macarons, 400 pastries, and 25 dancers-and-heart centerpieces made out of delicate pastillage. The Chocolate Showpieces made by our students enrolled in Advanced Artistic Skills of Pastry Décor were showcased as centerpieces on the tables.
Marie Taylor Bosarge, president of Music Doing Good received the 2018 Gaston LeNotre Scholarship Ambassador Award for her outstanding leadership, philanthropy and contribution to the Arts and education for the underprivileged youth.

Iannarelli and Tina Raham Stewart, Chairs Zane Carruth, Susan Osterberg, and Kathrine Yzaguirre, foundation President Marie LeNotre, as well as French Consul General, Alexis Andres Houston, Princess Maria Anna and Prince Piotr Galitzine, Cathy and Giorgio Borlengui, Alain LeNotre, and Ernie Manouse.
