1. INTERNATIONAL STUDY TOUR OPPORTUNITIES

Students attending any of our programs have the opportunity to participate in an international or domestic study tour during their 10-Week Practicum.

International Practicum Sites include countries such as France, Mexico, or Canada. Domestic sites include Practicum Affiliates’ locations in Texas, Louisiana, and California.

4. FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING AND SMALL CLASS SIZE

CIL is dedicated to a low student-teacher ratio with an average of 12-1 in kitchen labs.

Classes meet for 4 hours and 45 minutes Monday to Thursday and students can choose the morning, afternoon or evening shift.

Academic classes are held as hybrid-online or in-person.

5. INTERNATIONAL CHEFS

Get technical guidance from our full time chefs who average many years of experience in the industry, both in the U.S. and abroad.

Our goal is for our students to have close supervision from the same chef for each of your 10-week term levels.

6. LE BISTRO

The CULINARY INSTITUTE LENOTRE® is the proud home of Le Bistro, nestled at the heart of the institute.

Le Bistro offers our students the opportunity to experience the front and back of the house practices for many types of banquets and special events.

7. STUDENT PRESENTATIONS

Students from every class present their dishes to a school audience once a week and share a seated complimentary meal together.

This community experience is unique to our school, which teaches a variety of international cuisines in addition to French Cooking, Baking and Pastry, and Hospitality and Restaurant Management.

8. EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT

Our Career Services Department provides career assistance including support with resumé writing and interview skills for job placement.

9. WELLCONNECT

This is a Complimentary Concierge Service where students and their families, at no cost to the student, can connect with specialists who help with establishing relationships with healthcare providers to solve life concerns. WellConnect offers trusted one-on-one healthcare guidance through connections specialists, educational resources and assistance finding healthcare providers, and to connect students and their families with most relevant resources available.

10. ENGAGING STUDENTS IN OVER 320 RECIPES

Most of the student’s time in the kitchen lab is hands-on, enabling them to best learn individual skill sets. This intense practice helps students learn over 320 recipes and skills.

Our Stewards take care of cleaning pots and pans and not our students so that they can utilize their time for learning.
