How do I enroll if I am an international student?
CULINARY INSTITUTE LENOTRE® college is authorized under federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students under a M-1 or F-1 visa.
- International students must demonstrate competence in the English language.
- Applicants must demonstrate sufficient financial resources necessary to cover the cost of attendance and living expenses in Houston, Texas.
- The diploma course requires international students to have an M-1 visa. While attending school, M-1 students cannot work or be paid for employment. Students may take advantage of unpaid internships to gain experience.
- International students enrolling in the associate degree course are required to have an F-1 student visa.
- F-1 students may also be eligible to apply for off-campus employment after graduation, subject to certain restrictions
CULINARY INSTITUTE LENOTRE® (CIL) college may assist international students with lodging options at extended-stay hotels. CIL also offers international students a one-time $1,500 scholarship after enrollment. For details, contact an Admissions Professional.
