High School French Class Explores Cuisine at CIL

Back to News

High school students at Duchesne High School in Houston recently practiced their French while participating in a cooking class with Culinary Institute Lenotre chefs. The demo was part of our commitment to fostering a love for French cuisine, culture and language and to training the next generation of chefs. Students learned about careers in the culinary world while growing their French skills.

The program aims to give students from Houston schools and ISDs a real-world taste of jobs in the hospitality field, to answer their questions about future careers and to show first-hand the fast-paced world of cuisine.

Culinary Institute Lenotre has been ranked the #1 culinary school in America for three years in a row by Niche, and we offer lifelong career support to our alumni around the world. Our instructors are professional chefs bringing an average of 15 years of experience in hospitality combined with a dedication to mentoring budding professionals.
