Recently, we had the honor to host our partners Republica Del Cacao and Chef Gonzo Jimenez for a chocolate-making demonstration. Jimenez, who owns Miette & Chocolat and has been featured in Bake Squad on Netflix, created some of his most successful recipes.
Students, alumni and professionals attended this special event, one of a series hosted in partnership with Republica Del Cacao, a sustainable Latin American chocolatier. The company previously educated our students on the history and cultivation of chocolate and gave a virtual tour of Vinces Collection Center.
Our students develop their skills in small, hands-on classes with instructors with a average of 15 years’ experience at upscale restaurants and patisseries. We’re committed to giving our students real-world experience via demonstrations from world-famous chefs and internships in local bakeries and restaurants. Students from all classes also gather twice a week to present their dishes to a school audience and share a complimentary meal.
