On July 14th 2023, Culinary Institute LENOTRE (CIL) had the pleasure of hosting an exhilarating culinary competition for high school students from the Houston area. These specific competitors are future students for CIL and each of them received a $2000 scholarship.
The competition showcased the incredible talent and dedication of these young chefs. From the moment they entered our institute, they exuded confidence and passion for their craft. The competition challenged the participants to demonstrate their culinary prowess through a series of timed challenges and tasks.
Throughout the day, our esteemed panel of judges, composed of our very own Chef instructors and guest chefs, evaluated each dish based on its taste, presentation, and originality. Witnessing the enthusiasm and determination of these young chefs was truly inspiring. Their ability to remain calm under pressure and produce exceptional culinary creations was a testament to their talent and the guidance provided by their dedicated instructors.
