The Culinary Institute is proud to maintain a strong partnership with Aramark, a global leader in hospitality and food service. Through this collaboration, our students gain valuable career exposure, networking opportunities, and real-world insight into large-scale culinary operations. Aramark continues to support our community by participating in the Culinary Institute’s Career Fair and partnering with us for initiatives such as the Aramark Food Drive.
As part of this partnership, 10 Lenotre students were given the opportunity to participate in an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Daikin Park, home of the Houston Astros. Hosted by Aramark staff, the visit provided students with a comprehensive look at the stadium’s culinary departments from the loading docks where ingredients arrive, to the high-volume production kitchens, and even the pastry department responsible for specialty desserts.
Throughout the tour, students had the opportunity to engage with industry professionals and ask questions about the hiring process, employment training, and career incentives available within stadium and event hospitality. They were also able to see firsthand how large-scale food service operations are managed in one of Houston’s premier entertainment venues.
Beyond the tour experience, Aramark also supports continued professional development, allowing graduates to further their education and advance their careers in the hospitality industry.
Experiences like this allow our students to step beyond the classroom and see the real-world impact of their training, while building relationships with industry leaders who help shape the future of culinary and hospitality professionals.
