Through our new partnership and collaboration with Castello di Ugento, students will have the opportunity to further develop their culinary training in Puglia, Italy. As part of the program, students will complete a certification led by an Italian chef, designed to reinforce essential culinary techniques, deepen their understanding of regional ingredients, and strengthen professional culinary practices. Following the certification, students will gain hands-on experience working in a local restaurant, allowing them to apply and refine their skills within a professional culinary environment.
The international externship partnership will also be open to LENOTRE alumni, who may choose between completing the chef-led certification program or participating in the full externship experience, which includes both certification and restaurant training. Alumni, as entrepreneurs or executive chefs, may choose to participate with the opportunity as part of their career mobility or brand added value while advancing their technical skills, gain international exposure, and apply their training within a professional culinary setting
