The NICHE ranking corporation released a list of the 66 Best Culinary Arts Colleges in the U.S. and ranked us number one in America.
Our student career services provide lifetime career assistance, including support with resume writing, interview skills and internship and job placement. An average of 94% of our graduates found jobs before graduation.
Students from every class present their dishes to a school audience twice a week and share a seated complimentary meal together. This community experience is unique to CIL, which teaches a variety of international cuisines in addition to French cooking and baking.
CULINARY INSTITUTE LENOTRE® proudly hosts a gourmet, award-winning bistro nestled at the heart of the institute, Le Bistro. The restaurant offers qualified students the opportunity to experience the profession through internships or practicums, working at real-time restaurant speed.
Get technical guidance with close supervision by executive chefs averaging at least 20 years of experience in upscale restaurants or pastry and baking shops. Our chef-instructors are full time and school stockholders. You will have the same chef for each of your 10-week term levels.
We offer four diplomas, three associate of applied science degrees and five elective options, including LENOTRE sommelier, hotel, restaurant management and artistic skills of pastry décor. Choose between morning, afternoon or evening shifts. Lab classes meet for four hours per shift, Monday through Thursday, leaving your weekends open.
CULINARY INSTITUTE LENOTRE® is dedicated to a low student-teacher ratio, averaging 12 to 1 in kitchen labs. Small classes will help you learn effectively, allowing more individual attention from your chef-instructors.
Most of your time in the kitchen lab training is hands-on, enabling you to better memorize the feats of skill. This intense hands-on practice helps you master over 320 recipes and skills. You also don’t have to clean pots and pans!
Your culinary success means financial success. In 2018, qualifying students took advantage of over $1,729,995.49 in scholarships. We are a one-location, employee-owned school. We put your money where it belongs: fine ingredients, dedicated faculty and full-time, top-notch chefs.
For three generations, the LENOTRE name has been internationally recognized for stellar cuisine and pastry. To honor that tradition, we provide you with cutting-age training. CULINARY INSTITUTE LENOTRE® is not just the founder and president’s name – it is your passport to success.
